February 19, 2006 By: Marie Rosss New flagship jewelry location on Union SquareSimayof Diamond Cutters & Jewelers announced today that it has entered into a long-term lease agreement with Union Square Building LLC for its new flagship location on Union Square, at 295 Geary Street at Powell. This prime corner location at Union Square will open in the second quarter of 2004 and joins Simayof's Union Street location in San Francisco and stores in Walnut Creek and Las Vegas. We are delighted to be able to move into such a superb location, said Adi Simayof, president and CEO of Simayof Diamond Cutters and Jewelers. Union Square has long been a premiere shopping area, and we are excitedly looking forward to our opening. The Simayof family's vision and the unique shopping experience their stores offer have given the company years of sustained growth. Simayof Diamond Cutters & Jewelers is now one of the largest diamond and jewelry emporiums in Northern California. Still a family-run business, Simayof prides itself on maintaining strong ties with the community thru a long tradition of sponsoring community events and local art, educational, and charitable programs. Simayof's new flagship store will continue on the brand's tradition of carrying only the finest quality high-end jewelry, loose diamonds and engagement rings at exceptional values. The new location will also showcase an extensive new line of products designed specially for the bridal market. The bridal category continues to grow at a tremendous rate. We're thrilled at the prospect of being able to offer so much more to brides and grooms in helping make their special day even more spectacular. Among the options that will be available in the bridal line of products include bridal jewelry, silverware, bridal gifts, bridesmaid and groomsmen's gifts, china, and of course, a bridal registry. Union Square Building LLC, which purchased the Union Square Building in May this year, will be coordinating its own significant renovation work around the extensive improvements planned by Simayof. We are delighted to have found a strong retailing partner for our redevelopment of the Union Square Building, said property owner representative Stephen Brett. We have always viewed the corner location as key to our plans for the property. A flagship Simayof store that will be second to none in terms of look and appeal will completely transform one of Union Square's busiest corners. Our partnership with Simayof fits perfectly with our renovation and upgrading plans for the entire building. About
