LOVETRIPPER.COM RELEASES THE DESTINATION WEDDING WORKBOOK

Would you like to get married on your honeymoon? Destination weddings are becoming more and more popular. Around the world, you'll find hotels and resorts that offer on-site help to plan your wedding, from details like the wedding license to extras such as music and photos.

Brides are finding it easier than ever to combine their wedding and honeymoon in one trip, says Paris Permenter. Permenter and her husband, John Bigley, authored the newly released The Destination Wedding Workbook, Riviera Books. At some destinations, couples can arrive that morning and exchange vows that very afternoon.

In recent years, many destinations have streamlined marriage paperwork and legal requirements. Many Caribbean islands have shortened their residency requirements for foreign couples; paperwork and planning can often be largely completed by fax and email before the special day. With the average cost of a US wedding now approaching $20,000, many couples are turning to destination weddings as a cost saving measure.
