The site offers brides and grooms a range of free, personalized event-planning features, in addition to articles and more than 300 business listings relevant to planning a Washington-area wedding.

Washingtonpost.com's Wedding411 site is prototype event-planning site. As with all the more than 50 events included within Event411 planners, has password-protected sections for the private use of bridal couples and their guests. Enrolled couples can build a personal homepage, list their bridal registry, keep track of their wedding budget, use the guest manager, and design an online photo album. Guests can access the couple's bridal registry and photo album, leave a message and sign the guest book.
